I don't think that there is ANY choke that has NOT been recommended here for singles. Fast shooter/open chokes, slower shooter/tighter chokes seems to make sense. Or you could just go with the Frank Little school of thought and shoot full choke for everything.

How was the Hoppie? Will we see you in Spokane?

Neil I like a full choke.

I sold a fixed full choke Perazzi and bought a new gun with tubes. I thought I was smart enough to figure out the answer to your question. Now, many patterns and many targets later, I'm just confused.

Shawn, the Hoppie Shoot was great perfect weather and close to 60 full squads. I'm heading to Spokane early Friday morning, see you there!

It depends on the bore of your barrel speed of your shells & weight of your load.

    My Infinity's are .740 Bore--with 1 oz of #8/81/2 @ 1185 I use a LM

    with 11/8 0z 0f #8 @ 1145 I use a mod

I get much more smoke with the 1 oz combo--this combo vaporizes targets from the 16 all misses are due to driver error.

Went to the club today and tried a skeet 1 extended choke tube for 16 yard singles. I was suprised at how good the breaks were. No ink balls, but alot of targets that were broken into countless little pieces. HMB

IM is a good place to start. Pattern it and go from there.
