Interested in what most doubles shooters use with respect to choke, ie. 0.32/0.20 etc. Thankyou.

I tried something different recently. I only have tubes in the bottom so I changed it to .032/ top is bored .040 shooting 1oz in both barrels. My scores are coming up...no more sloppy hits. either smoke or none. Was shooting in the low 80's, have improved up to the low to mid 90's. As the coach preaches, "see the bird, shoot the bird". FOCUS & CONCENTRATE!

l.c. and mod.(you had better shoot that second target fast enough to break it with a modified choke)

I shoot an old Citori special trap for doubles and a friend mic'd the barrels for me years ago. The bottom barrel changed dimensions 4-5 times on its way to the muzzle - I mean it went to more open, more constriction, more open, more constriction. I recorded the info somewhere, but with all those changes going on, it just did not seem important. I use Briley extended chokes, LM % IM. My average for 2007 was 90.26 on 3,050 targets. When fooling around with a Browning .410 bore, I use IC and Full. Fun to shoot and that combination breaks targets nicely when pointed straight.
