I was reading another thread about a newbie, and do we need $5000 + guns to shoot trap, Do we? What brand of gun do you shoot most often? If you use a back up what brand is it. I used to shoot a K80 unsingle but lately I picked up a TMX and like the swing of it and that's what I have been shooting. Question #3 what was your first trap gun? My first was a BT-99 pigeon with deep engraving. Still miss that gun. Bulge.

Now shoot a Ljutic One-Touch only. Have owned and shot many Ljutics, Kreighoff's, Brownings, Berettas, Remington's, Model 12's. Have owned a Ljutic X-73 (would like to try that one again), a few Mono-guns, an LTX, a few Dynokics. The X-73 had a factory bent barrel with higher impact, but it was heavier.

#1 S&W M41 (not much good on trap though)

    #2 682 Beretta Combo

#3 M42 Winchester, just plain fun and a decent quail getter.

1st & only gun. A 1970 Browning Broadway. It fits, shoots where I look, smokes targets and it ain't broke. Never felt the need to replace it.

Alfermann for singles and handicap, Beretta 682X for doubles.

I shot an 870 TB for years, and still have a small scar on my right cheek to prove it. It rubbed me raw.
