What are you doing to fight the socialist?

In the past couple of months I have attended a couple of "Tea parties" and a "patients first" bus stop rally. They have been okay, but I don't know what good they have been doing. Other than call your Senators and Congressman and tell them to oppose the socialist onslaught what can we do?

    Any other ideas?

Write your Congressmen...TELL THEM YOU'RE AN INDEPENDENT...and tell them you want them to SLOW DOWN, no Public Option, and no new taxes.

I just pull levers at my township voting polls. The next lever I pull will be flushing Spector to a sewage disposal plant.

Bisi: Continue attending Tea Parties whenever possible. Continue going to rallies, and meeting with representatives to express your viewpoints. Continue to write your Congressperson and Senators. Our voices are having an effect-just look at the continuing attacks by the obots on "mobs", on other groups, at the waffles we see daily from the White House, and blog reports, reports orn FOX, even items in such hostile sources as the New York Times and Washington Post once in a while. Our voices are making the libtards nervous and upset. We are making many of these liberal dems in congress nervous, and yes, scared that they might lose their jobs. If the voices keep up, and if we do not go back to sleep, but keep telling them NO, right up to and beyond 2010, we will have an effect. And then go to the polls (and get all your family, friends, and neighbors to the polls also) and vote against any politician (of either party) who refuses to listen to those he/she is supposed to represent and who refuses to read the plain language of the Constitution.

The League of American Voters is planning a march on Washington. If it comes off, I'm going.

Wait until the whole d--ned mess falls apart, then dig out of the rubble and and start over. It's too late to make any difference at this point. EVERYBODY (rich, poor, old, young, on and on, ad nauseum) wants something for nothing and there are plenty of pandering fools in the halls of Congress and at the White House just too happy to give it to them in order to stay in office. Hunker down, folks, the storm is coming!I've said it before, and I'll say it again: if your aren't paranoid right now, you aren't paying attention! The binge is over folks; it was fun while it lasted, now comes the hangover.

    Re-Read Jim's excellent post above..!!
The fact is...people standing uyp and saying "WHOA" has seriously affected the speed of the "Karl Marx Express". Keep reminding everyone / ANYONE who will listen...if PEOPLE had not woke up and made Congress listen...we would already have the entire OBAMACARE nightmare in place, done and done. Remember this..without even having to get in to the details of this fiasco...if it's such a good deal...why didn't the Democrat leadership put it on the table, tell the American people "here's OUR plan...let's read it over, discuss, debate, review and revise over the next few months...then we'll vote on it later in the year..." NO...it was: "Here it is...NO TIME TO READ IT...MUST VOTE NOW...HURRY,HURRY..!!! MUST ACCEPT..NO DEBATE..!!!!"
That's either the tactic of someone who is an idiot, OR who believes YOU AND I are idiots...but there's an idiot in there somewhere.

Make it perfectly clear to your politicians that they are going to have an address change come the election. Ed

I have emailed, called, written, faxed, all of my Senators and Congressmen MANY times both sides of the isle. I don't know if it does any good but, the only thing they think about when they lay there heads down to sleep is job preservation
so the more they hear from us the more they will follow the wind.

While one voice, one phone call, or one email might not get any politicians ear, if all of us do this, and continue to do this day after day, week after week, month in an month out, they will start to get the message. I was recently part of an effort to get a petition against the so-called health plan going (via the internet). Within 3 weeks, over 1 million people had signed the online petition, and it was sent to Congress and the White House. Maybe one voice is not heard, but a million (or more) are a lot louder. But it all starts with the one voice, to which each of us must add our voices. When the voices get loud enough, even the idiots in Washington start to get nervous and start worrying more about losing their jobs than jamming marxist dogma down our throats.
