I have some older Winchester shells marked---WS 1275--- on the end of the flat box. Not AAs, but the cheaper ammo.

They are 1350 fps, 71/2 shot, but do not tell how much shot in each shell

    Any info about these?

Need more info about what is written on the box or on the shells. What do you mean by the "flat box"?

    Easy---

They are in a box, or flat, containing ten boxes of shells, or 250 rounds per flat.

The marking on the end of the flat box says they are 24 gram, 1350 fps, 71/2 shot, and is marked--WS 1275--.

I could just cut one open and weigh the shot, but I hate to waste a shell if I may not want to shoot them.

    Any help

    Danny

    Danny,

24 gram loads are for International Trap competition. Most people who reload for practice at a bunker trap range use 7/8 ounce because it comes close, but for official competition, it must be 24 grams.

Sounds like bunker loads. Close to 7/8 oz (24 gm)and at 1350 fps. 28 gram would be close to 1 oz.

    Thanks for the reply's.

I did cut one open, and the shot weighs just under 7/8 oz.

Going to try these Tuesday to see how they shoot.
