I've seen some pictures that show the creek up over the road, so you might need a boat to get to the far end.

You can never have too much rain gear when going to Mason. Great shoot, but the weather only cooperates about once every three years!

In addition to camping spots, I did hear that boat slips were available for this shoot as well.

Is it true that the Grill's are coming by water all the way from Marquette to the trailer?

Whaddaya tawkin about? Conditions were perfect...on Tuesday.

Rain almost all day on Wednesday, with doubles postponed until Thursday morning. Thursday wet and muddy with dropping temps - 46 degrees with about a 15 MPH headwind. Forecast is cool and cloudy, 12 NNE tomorrow. It's been mud city, with a fairly low turnout, not that I blame people for bailing out early. It's been pretty tough shooting, for me at least. You shoot anyway.

Supposed to improve by Sunday and hot on Monday. Not sure about Saturday.

Anybody know the condition of the driveway back to the clubhouse?

Last time I was there it looked like a few mini-IEDs had gone off---ROUGH!

No orange barrels yet, so the road conditions are not too bad by Michigan standards...

Left early, mud, mud, mud !!. Road coming in off Service Road looks and feels like it was cluster bombed, need 4WD to park and move about. Cold, wet and still raining as of today (Sat). The only thing worse than the weather were my scores. :>)

Happy to report things are getting better.

Early this afternoon the grader was out re-grading the entry road and as we drove out today all the pot holes were gone. No rain today and sunny in the afternoon helped to dry things up a bit. It's still muddy but not quite as bad as the past couple of days.
