I am not sure of the Zone results. Tabs were not complete when I left. But
for the Reno, Sage Hill champs.
Singles - Kambra Brawner (I hope I spelled corretly) with 199 and shoot off. She was also the Zone Womens champion.
Doubles - Mark Dagher with 99 and shoot off over 3 others.
Handicap - Matt Hoffman with 98.
Sorry I do not have category, class or yardage winners.
Actually the turn out was not that bad considering they decided at a late date to hold the shoot.
Personally my thanks to Darlene and her staff for a great effort. Ran the shoot as well as could be. They could not control the wind, but the target settings were as good as you can get under those conditions. (And they were on the ball whenever a problem arose, or targets need adjustment).
They also had a great feed for the shooter on Saturday, complements of Sage Hill and others.
I heard no complaints. And I had none, and that says a lot.
This shoot has a lot of problems with clubs scattered over a vast area. It is time the ATA got off their back sides and implemented a good computer system. I am sure there are thousands that could accomplish this for them. - Jim
LoL Jerry - good point! Thanks Jim - that's better than nothing.
I just can't believe we had NO zone results, just the information from Larry @ Pocatello for his site and a couple of shoot-off & banking scores from the other sites.
There has to be a better way to coordinate the results from a telephonic shoot. I don't know what it is, but good heavens, the Zone shoots in the Mid-West and East are better at reporting than we are.
Hey, Zard...but it's about attendance...don't ya know?
