Rubber bushing is worn or has a flat spot, replace or rotate. Weak spring, replace. Clean and lubricate lightly.

I did not mean lubricate the rubbers. It is the Escapement Lever Assembly that should be cleaned and lubricated. When the machine is not going to be used for awhile remove the targets. This will take pressure off the spring and rubber.

I have basically the only manuals available that are more in-depth than anyone else has, I think. I sell them, but am happy to share any information you may need. Prefer to do this via email.

I got these manulas from Winchester when they were here for the H-S Precision buyout of their trap & skeet division and move here to Rapid City SD. I have had them reprinted and updated.

Depending on use, temperature, etc. the Escapement Cushions may need to be replace annually. They are rubber and when hard, they tend to let the targets drop prematurely. They and their integrated lever springs are the only thing holding up the stack of targets in the the carousels.
