Were is the POI on the XT usual set with a regular comb not adjustable? Is it like the 682 being one higher than the other?

Thats like asking "how high is up?". Shoot at a patterning board with the center of the target clearly marked. Aim and shoot at the center from 15yds and see where the center of the shot mass impacts the paper. That will tell you quicker and more accurately than any info you could get here.

Mine is about 60/40 bottom and about 50/50 top barrel.

I agree with Mixer, put it on the board to know where it shoots for YOU. My XT has a M/C stock, non-adjustable and it patterns 90/10 (bottom barrel) and 80/20 (top barrel). If you mounted it and patterned my gun, it might be different than it is for me. Put it on paper!
