Was shooting the other day and a buddy wanted to try my gun...an older Beretta 680 unsingle. "Wow this seems heavy!"

So I thought Id weigh it. Came in @ 9 lb 13 oz.
    How does this compare???

Seems about right. 8-10 lbs is about the norm depending on barrel length and number of barrels. More weight helps to absorb some of the recoil at the shoulder.

I have a 682 34" unsingle that is very muzzle heavy compared to the 34" top single.
