Any website(s) that are reliable for identifying older Rollex watches, possibly with value?

I think you're more likely to find Rollex watches on this web site. :)

Take it to an authorized Rolex dealer. Yes there are enthusiast forums for watches, just like trap guns. But if you do have a genuine Rolex, it could probably use a cleaning anyway. That should only be done thru an authorized Rolex dealer. Go to Rolex.com and search for dealers in your area. Anything else and you are gambling with the authenticity.

eBay has a page to ID real or counterfeit Rolex's.

This one is a counterfeit Oysterquartz Day Date President.

It isn't just cleaning, they disassemble and relube the parts with special oils. Chronographs are machines that require lubrication. Most won't pay to have it done. buyer beware.

I subscribe to a couple of watch forums and I have heard horror stories about the Rolex Service Center in NYC...stories like the techs just swapping out the wrong parts, etc...but the one in Dallas is suppose to be very good.

For the best servicing (especially on vintage aged watches), I heard Bob Ridley, down in Texas, is the man to go to, for a thorough cleaning and certified parts replacement. He charges a couple hundred more than the Rolex Service Center but many many people are happy with him. His website is above.

Go to Rolex Forums.com, everything you ever wanted to know, and then some.
