The North Hollywood Gun Club would like to thank the 66 Singles shooters on Saturday and the 56 Handicap shooters on Sunday who came out and enjoyed beautiful weather, BBQed chicken, ribs, corn on the cob and all the trimmings, good targets and great fun at our Silverado Shoot. We handed out over 7 pounds of silver including some silver dollar money clips and necklaces donated by Bill & Ruthie Hunter.

Full results will be on CGSTA in a couple of days but hat tips to the big woofers, Jim Edwards taking Singles Champ with 199 and Bill Stone over Chris Champion in a 25/24 shootoff for AA, both with 198s.

In the Sunday Handicap, Terry Bilbey took the combined Champion with 95-97 but Tim Bowman had high score for the day with a 98 which added to his 92 in the morning gave him the 27 yard 10oz silver bar.

A lot of folks pitched in to make this shoot happen. Thanks to all.

    Jim Tyner & Gary Bombalicki.

A trapshooter could not ask for a better place to shoot and have fun.

The club pays close attention to every detail. The shooting started on time and the targets were right on. The grounds were kept neet and tidy all day long.

The weather cooperated with a cool clear 60 degrees in the early morning and peaking in the low 90's by afternoon.

Lunch was outstanding with seating in the shade of several large trees.

Congratulations to NHSC for a job well done.

It should be noted that even with this disaster of an economy we had 3 more total shooters than last year. Putting 25,000+ targets in the air for a 4 trap club is not a bad weekend. The key is to put on good shoots all year.

It was great getting back to NHSC on saturday. I was instrumental in getting Big Jim Edwards and Eddie Morris to make the trip and Big Jim didnt disappoint as he had a 199 and was the best for the day. I've shot with Big Jim for a number of years and he was "one smooth dude" saturday. The shoot, targets, weather and lunch couldnt have been better. The staff of NHSC works hard all day long and they keep things moving. They are exceptional. It was great that a number of Golden Bears attended the shoot along with me. Others were Big Jim Edwards, Eddie Morris, Chris Champion, John Carmadella, Walter Allen, L.B. Barrett and Big Joe Dillard. Without any hesitation I believe that NHSC and Redlands are the only two premium shooting ranges here in Southern California. Looking forward to the September shoot. Bob English
