Very cool. I shot a lot of woodies when I was growing up next door in Pennsylvania. They look a lot better than they taste!

    Curt,

Nothing like watching your lab work!, good job!. Tell me about your gun,
look's remingtonish, with a camo speedfeed stock, can't quite tell if you have it painted, powder coated or?. Did you buy as such or build it?.

The Lab (Doc) is my daughter's, he's a real real marsh dog. Loves riding in the boat and retrieving. He's also a pretty good upland hunter too, but really shines on the ducks and geese!

The gun is a Remington 11-87 XCS Super Magnum Waterfowler. I bought it in 2008 and have used it quite a bit without any problems. I don't use 3-1/2" stuff, normally just 2-3/4", # 4, Remington HD, which is more than enough to kill geese/ducks outright at 40 yds (we only hunt over decoys) using a modified choke.

    Curt:

I just joined DelWar Waterfowling -- need to get back into waterfowling after being away from it for 8 years. Hoping to start with MD geese, then maybe next year get into DE ducks.

    Great sport.

Curt, I think you will do better at the Turkey Shoot. Bring your decoy setters and we will see if they can shoot like you.
