Nice shooting today, 100 in singles and a 99 in handicap. I wish I could have shot with you but my arthritis is killing me and stayed in bed. I guess that new setup you have on that parallel Target Beretta works quite well.

    Way to go my friend.

WHOA!! I just got home....what a day. This is the second time I shot registered with my new gun and I wish that I would have put it together years ago. It shoots 100% high now and that's what's working for me.

I also won $150 for running 50 straight in caps and got a punch for another yard, so I'm now at the 24....then I got some more gun work.

    What a day!!

    Tron.

You haven't seen this one yet Barry. It's a parallel target, with a DeVault ajustable rib barrel, a 390 trigger, I put an adjustable comb and butt plate on it, some weights and an end cap reducer.

At this time, I would like to thank Mr. Barry Kemper for taking pitty on my sorry sole and pointing out a more correct way for me to shoot trap.

Thank you! I've learned a lot from you.

I shot with Tron on the HCP - just the two of us on the line. Maybe two birds he didn't hit solid the rest were shattered.

It was great to see his success and, like the gentlemen he is, he bought everyone two rounds afterward.

    Nice shooting with you Joe.

Fine shooting TRON. By the way, is that duck tape holding your stock to the receiver?

Congratulations on great shooting; however, I don't see a shell catcher or deflector in the photo...but I bet you used one being a conscientious auto shooter. Can't be too careful, you know. Best Regards, Ed

Well Tron I guess my shooting lessons helped you out some also.

    L.O.L.

Ok just wondered when you are going to buy a dedicated front end weight for the gun im sure the threads are getting wore on the end cap stud from having to take it off when you are done shooting and placing it back in the drawer.

I think sglfr45 [Matt] can make what ever size you need.

By the way nice shooting even if you are still gay.

Hey Tron. At 100% high I couldn't handle the hard angles. What's your secret?

He probably bought a new choke for his gun.
Somebody finally told him that there are other chokes than SKEET.

Hey, thanks everybody! It's amazing the difference a new gun can make and when you take the time to set if up. When I first got it all together, I spent a morning at the patterning board and took a lot of time dialing it in. Then I went to the range, dropped the first target and ran 285 straight (over a 3 day period), then shot a registered with it (97 in singles) and got a 1/2 yard punch with a 94.

The funny thing about shooting the 100 straight and the 99 in caps was that it really wasn't a very good day to shoot....gusty and rainy, so I figured I'd try to snap them up a bit quicker. The one I missed was a hard left on station 2 and I just didn't put enough lead into it.

    Tron (not gay)
