Ray- Why would you think he is putting an asphalt sealer on concrete?

<I>"Then I would put it on a brick that can be observed and not damage 3 square feet of good concrete."</I>

There are oils in asphalt that will prevent some sealers from drying. Believe me, I know! Those oils are not present in a brick.

Pat, the original poster said that he had been given some driveway sealant. There are many good latex sealants specifically made for concrete driveways that will separate when stored unopened for an extended time.

Since the original post said "driveway" and not "asphalt", my advice is correct for either.

Okay, so everyone thinks that this sealant is usable if mixed enough?

    Thanks for the help.
