A little diazinon (sp) around the foundation will do wonders for getting rid of them. The ones that are inside the house already spray with some vinegar and they will quickly die.

If diazinon is too toxic for you, try Amdro granules. We buy it at Lowe's or Home Depot and it works for us.(Virginia ants seem to like it) Kit

+1 on the Terro. We get hit every spring with tiny ants and the stuff works. I believe Borax and sugar are the bait. Non toxic.

I just had to ask--Having been a professional pest elimination specialist, entomologist as well as a company owner for the past 26 years--ask yourself why these Ants keep coming back? Any product at Home Cheapo or at Lowes will not give the results that you seek.Nor will the client have the "know how" to utilize these products properly. Thanks.

They must work if everyone is recommending it ?? Takes away from your profit ?? Somethings need professional help and I would admit to that . Just like exlax getting rid of moles, worked for me and better that the 2 traps I put out. Homo Depo has to profit somehow also .

Who said everyone voted for our so called president ?? I didn`t. Don`t understand your logic of removing Ants to a president. Maybe we need an exterminator for that one.

Terro is very effective. I live in SoCal. We have been inundated with the Argentine black grease ant. These little buggers actually kill and take over our small and large red ants. They love to nest in outdoor garden pots or indoor houseplant pots! They eat termites but they also get into every freaking thing in your pantry. No outside pest guy has been able to make any permanent headway. I finally realized that Terro was just as effective and a whole lot cheaper. That's my $.02
