Sorry, can't help you on that but just so you know you're not the only one - I had a Ford Escape, loved the car and have always kept my cars for ten years. The seats were so hard and uncomfortable, three years was all I could stand.
I bought a Chevy Impala based on seat comfort and it's wonderful. Plus it gets 32 miles per gallon on the freeway at 70 miles per hour. Trade it in. You won't be sorry.

Mr. finger, does your Highlander have a side-impact airbag in the driver's seat? If so you may have a hard time finding an aftermarket seat to fit your SUV. We had aftermaket seats in our squad cars for a number of years and they were great! Since we kept getting FORD CVs we switched them from car to car but had to discontinue that practice when the new Crown Vics came out with the side-impact air bags. That was not one of Ford's better ideas!
