Hey fellas, have you heard the news? Led Zepplin has a dedicated on channel on XM radio. (incase you are not a fan - the first line is from Heartbreaker.) And to those really in a cocoon, the concert has been delayed a couple of weeks. Perhaps Ian Anderson would accuse me of living in the past, but I really miss those days and that band.

It's been a long time since I rock and rolled,
It's been a long time since I did the Stroll.
Ooh, let me get it back, let me get it back,
Let me get it back, baby, where I come from.
It's been a long time, been a long time,
Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time. Yes it has.

Sorry hip, I am not a troll, I think Led Zeppelin was the best rock band ever, my youngest daughter is over 30 so I haven't been young for a while, and although I am not very good at it, I really try to shoot trap. But if I did not have XM radio, I would buy a new car to get it.

Gary, what have you been smokin' on those lonely rides up the NJTP?? You better hope Curt doesn't read your post or he'll be pulling you over for a piss test before you take the line at the next shoot. But...yes I have to agree, they were a great band. Best, Dan

Led Zepplin beats Elvis every time. You wanna hear some amazing guitar playing you have to listen to the metal out these days. Vocals are a little extreme but the guitaring/drumming is amazing. Though none of them may match Eddie VanHalen, it is still good, beats the hell out of rap. Listen to anything by Shadows Fall, preferably the songs Ghosts of Past Failures, or Stepping Outside the Cirlce, both have good guitar solos.

Led Zepplin and Black Sabbath (with Ozzy only please) are by far and away the best groups of that time!

I almost forgot about a left handed guitarist that played a bit in the late '60's to his untimely demise in the early 70's. Then there was also some bloke by the name of Clapton that was starting to make the rounds then.

Elvis was a guitar strummer, not a player as compared to Hendrix, Zepplin, Sabbath and the rest of mizzou's list.

Elvis was an original, he was the king. Led Zepelin, if you were not high on dope, was just so much racket.
