First off...yes I know about the errors in the title, I just had to make some adjustments to make it fit...anywho!

What's the cheapest you've paid for a case of 12 gauge shells this year? With the rising cost of lead I thought it would be good to share how much you paid, what kind of shells they are, and how and where to get them at this cost.

I paid $37.95 a case, just today actually. I definately stocked up to say the least. They are Kemper shells or something like that. They are of very good quality, I patterned them, and it was dead on, just as good as Winchester AA's or something like that.

Could you post those patterning results, Trappy, so we can make our own judgments about what "just as good" means to us?

...or you can buy a box and pattern them yourself to see if everything is satisfactory to you.

Could be Kent--Velocity or Kemen Sport 32's???

I have not heard of Kempler.

I have read that Kemen shells are made from the same company as Rio's BUT... there are the higher grade line for what's its worth. Better shot I think is what separated the two. Same powder, hull, primer, and wad.

Kent uses "Diamond Shot" as it brags.
