    In a nutshell, the CNN live webfeed of the Inauguration was provided via a third party, Octoshape, which "required" software to be installed on your computer. This software turned your computer into a streaming video server. This means your computer was simultaneously rebroadcasting the incoming video to other computers.<br>
    <br>
    This greatly reduced CNN's bandwidth usage by foisting it onto the local ISP and personal connections. Keep in mind that some ISPs meter the total up and down traffic usage, and temporarily shut off accounts that exceed their allotted usage. Comcast routinely does this. Turning your computer into a video server burns the amount of allotted traffic.

    Mine must have been slow too. It took a REALLY long time for the camera to pan across Michelle's booty. I think it was because they had to stop traffic.
