Once and for all, has it been determined that an AR15 was the weapon used in the school shooting, or were 4 handguns used and the rifle left in the car?

Early on it was reported that 4 handguns were used and the AR as left in the car. Bulge.

The reason I ask is because of this: http://video.today.msnbc.msn.com/today/50208495#50208495.

If true, I'm furious about the deception. But it could be BS and
I'd like to know the truth before I go ballistic.

I heard the same thing Mike, but then they figured out they wouldn't get to ban those terrible black rifles so they had to "adjust" their story

I still don't get it the media seems to want the 2nd repealed, after he second is repealed the rest of the constitution will be ignored, and they won't have a job, the giverment will be running it all

The shooter used 4 handguns. The Bushmaster was left in the car. There is a video showing the Police taking the AR out of the car AFTER the kid had shot himself. Once again, we have been lied to by the press and maybe higher.

The final report at the conclusion of the investigation may show that the Bushmaster was used, or it may show that it was not; I don't know which. None of you know either. So why don't we just wait for the case file to become public.

Related Update: Sandy Hook Shooting: Active-Shooter Drill Confirmed by Law Enforcement Raises Suspicion of False Flag Operation

It is a sad day in America as new evidence has come forth showing that everything we were told about the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting was a lie and that, possibly factions, within our own government and mainstream media were complicit in staging the atrocity to possibly strip constitutional rights from American citizens by banning firearms.

Read more at the link above.....

Make up your own mind, There is so much misinformation out there. Google Sandy Hook Exposed. Watch the videos and then ask yourself, does this sound rational?

With the government jumping on the gun control bandwagon immediately after that shooting, I'm not sure it wasn't a false flag.

Who pushed the video for Benghazi? Who is pushing the AR15 for SH?

Things that make you go Humm.....

There was a news feed that was on here last week showing the gun left in the car had a "side bolt handle"(AR 15/10's operate from the back) and when racked back spit put a "green" shell out into the trunk(12 gauge)

NO AR 15 or 10 was found.

And WE will never hear the Truth out of the alphabet news media.

Here's more.... Take it for what it's worth.....

    http://www.ijreview.com/2013/01/31221-update-state-police-confirm-weapons-used-in-newtown-shootings/

UPDATE: State Police Confirm Weapons Used in Newtown Shootings

The Connecticut State Police released a statement on January 18th attempting to clarify the confusion generated by the inconsistent and irresponsible media reporting following the Sandy Hook elementary shooting in Newtown on December 14th.

The released list of weapons sets the record straight on an issue that has driven the blogosphere to increasingly speculative lengths: exactly which weapons were used in the shooting?

The weapons seized from the attacker Adam Lanza are as follows, according to the State Police:

#1. Bushmaster .223 caliber– model XM15-E2S rifle with high capacity 30 round clips

    #2. Glock 10 mm handgun

    #3. Sig-Sauer P226 9mm handgun

Seized from suspect’s car in parking lot:

#4. Izhmash Canta-12 12 gauge Shotgun (seized from car in parking lot)

The Bushmaster .223 (not .233) can be assumed to be a semi-automatic rifle, although variants in fully automatic have been made for military and police purchasers. It is a “lightweight, small-caliber semi-automatic rifle, with a light recoil and a variety of optional barrel lengths and targeting/aiming devices.”

The Bushmaster .223 would fall under the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban legislation [Section 2(B)], since it has a detachable magazine (in this case, a 30-round magazine). The term “assault weapons” should be noted, since it appears to be politicized term used customarily to suit the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban legislation. The term is a redundancy, because there is no such thing as a “non-assault weapon.”

Nonetheless, numerous politicians have described so-called “military style” weapons using the term “assault weapon,” and various journalists have either picked up on the terms uncritically or used them to further the political agenda of gun regulation. “Assault weapon” is also difficult to distinguish from “assault rifle,” another vague term that has been used to describe fully automatic weapons or rifles with self-selective fire.

[Read "NBC Admitted: No ‘Assault Rifle’ Used in Newtown Shooting."]

The press release also clarifies that two handguns were used in the shooting, not four handguns, as NBC reported after ‘confirming’ the information with numerous federal and state officials on live television after the shooting. It is unclear whether or not NBC issued a retraction, although it was declared false by some journalists.

In addition, while there were a number of early reports that an “assault rifle” was used in the shooting, CNN ran an update that a shotgun was in the trunk of the car, and not a rifle. Although there apparently is no “Canta-12,” there is a Russian model that translates to “Saiga-12” (as a Russian speaker, I can confirm this).

The Connecticut State Police thus hopefully resolves the confusion that had been created by the media’s haste to politicize a crisis. May the controversy be laid to rest along with the tragic victims of the shooting.

Do we have to file for the information through Freedom of Information? What is the truth? I'm sorry to say that I have not found any facts on whether an AR was used or was it just "at the scene"? BT100dc

I would otherwise agree, however the press and politicians have chosen to not wait for a final report before they begin passing legislation infringing on my, and my children's constitutional rights. Consequently I can not afford to "fiddle while Rome burns".

Let's say you can keep your assault rifles but must surrender high capacity magazines in exchange for 5 round mags and a monetary stipend to compensate. Would your second amendment rights then still be under attack? Let's say there are no weapon bans at all, just magazine capacity rules; but in addition weapons must be registered by serial number with the ATF at no cost to the consumer. And all transactions, new or used, retailer or private party, must go through an FFL after a NICS check. Would your second amendment rights still be under attack?

Did you know that there are currently eight states not reporting mental illness to the NICS system?

You might want to look at the study by University of Mass. professors James D. Wright, Peter Rossi and Kathleen Daly, under a grant by Jimmy Carter who wanted to push gun control. The professors were initially in favor of gun control but after an extensive study which included interview of over 1800 inmates concluded that gun control did not reduce violent crime and appeared to be a detriment. The Justice Department stated that laws that imposed additional penalties for use of a firearm in a crime should be prosecuted to reduce crime rather than gun control at the point of sale. The laws exacting additional penalties are the exact kind of laws that the Obama administration has been very lax in prosecuting. Look at the stats of the Bush administration prosecution of violent offenders who used guns in crimes vs the Obama administration. AR-15s and high capacity magazines in the hands of law abiding citizens are no threat and registration will not reduce crime. Such laws only serve to inhibit and/or disarm people who have no intent on committing a crime. Of course that may be what you want.

'Tis a slippery slope you are on there, fellow...
There are some things that the honest law abiding US citizen does not, and should not, need to tell the authorities about. That is one of the things, one of the few things, that separates us from being Europeans. And it drives the rest of the world, and the progressives that want us to be just another version of the rest of the world, absolutely crazy.
Why not register to be a gun owner? Surely, if you have ever studied history, you can see the direction that this takes us.

And I'm not giving up my freedoms EVEN if it is at no cost to me...

N.F.W.; the Constitution requires due process and forbids retroactive laws for criminal prosecution. How about the government exchanging your 401(k) for a government benefit? May be trade your 4 bedroom house for a FEMA trailer? BT100dc

Here is what happens when the authorities become zealots in persuing legal gun owners:

Is that what we want here?

The UK is the exact scenerio that we do not want here. And unfortunately it is the exact scenerio that many of the gun-controllers seem to lust after. No one seems to remember that everytime the Germans go on a world tour we have to send our sporting arms to England just to keep Jerry at bay until they can make a few guns of their own.
And that is not paranoia. That is simply reciting history.
