In our family we have a Ward muzzleloading shotgun that we are trying to determine the value. I am on the road right now but when I return home I will try to post some pictures. Appears to be 12Ga. Very high figured wood with dark finish. All metal is engraved. Stock and forearm are one piece with one pin holding barells down much like a muzzleloading rifle. The ward name is found in script letters in the engraved side plates on each side. Does anyone have any ideas. Thanks in advance for any responses.

In my opinion it's what we call a "wall hanger", and has no value to anyone except your family. If mine, I'd give it a good cleaning and put it over the fireplace etc.

I searched the net and saw where one in slightly better condition than yours sold for $175(proxibid.com). I also saw one for sale for $350(gunsamerica.com). That of course is asking price and not selling price. My limited knowledge tends to agree with Border Bandit. I have a 12ga. and a 20ga.(not Ward guns) hanging on my wall just for looks.
