1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

People tell me I'm making a bad choice, but I would like to buy a used (LIGHTLY used) RCBS Grand. I threw out a worn out MEC 9000 a number of years ago, but I have gotten back into trap recently and would like to start loading again. I have had good luck with RCBS for metallic cartridges and want to give them a try. If you're frustrated with your Grand and need someone to buy it, let me know. I now have a lot more patience and can play and adjust for hours on end.

    Bad choice?

    I would dispute that claim.

I use a RCBS Grand and wouldn't give it up for the world.

And I previously used a MEC.

    Never again.

RCBS Grand is a great press.

Got mine in March of 2002. Had a few growing pains but RCBS made everyting right. Will not sell mine but will buy another used and set up on my bench for 20 gauge. Oh, ya, have about 40,000 through mine.

Sorry sold mine today from a girl from our local club for $650 and she picked
it up. A very good machine.

I recently picked up one of these in almost new condition. It's taken several hundred shells to get fairly familiar with it, and I still have a glitch or two that needs worked out but overall I'm fairly impressed. It's a lot more complicated than a MEC, and in some areas I don't think it's as good but in other areas it is way ahead. I have found out one thing...RCBS customer service is about impossible to reach via phone. I have attempted to call them at least a dozen times and always get a busy signal.

RCBS lines are busy dealing with all the problems they are having with Rock Chuckers.

The Grand machines are flawless and should not require support or spare parts.

The Rock Chuckers are pretty indestructible.

Read the second line of my post.

Contact the Red Barn Gun Shop, Mark Slavinski prop., Ph: 716-676-3828. He has a near new Grand with many extra parts for sale. The owner recently died and he is selling it for the widow. An excellent price also I believe.

I'm back with the same request. I thought I had one but the seller seems to have disappeared. If nobody is selling a used one, is there a reliable dealer that is stocking these at a "reasonable" price?
