Not so long ago someone posted a summary with information on the various Ljutic models that have come out over the years and how many of each type have been made. Can anyone direct me to that thread or provide a run down on what is what where Ljutic's are concerned.
Thanks,
Doug
Mono-gun- Ljutic standard model- available in 3 rib heights standard (low) Mid (higher) and Olympic (highest) great guns- built like a tank- Earlier ser# are a bit different- triggers do not interchange etc.
LTX- lightweight monogun- triggers still interchange- 33" barrels- reciever drilled out to lighten up a bit-
SLE PRO- Monogun with all the extras at one price- Choke tubes, Adj comb, Butt etc. Still just a upgraded Mono-gun.
Pro 3- different design- Lightweight reciever like LTX- Top to the Line at Ljutic- fancier wood and better checkering- Triggers DO NOT interchange with mono- Receiver is smaller. Pro-3 rib is a bit higher than Mid rib. Originally came with briley tubes but now Ljutic makes the tubes.
Centennial- Special production run of 25 stainless and 25 blue- 33" barrels- different rib design- still a Mono frame.
Dynakick- Thrust hammer design to reduce recoil- spring extends back into stock and firing pin moves forward when trigger is pulled- does reduce recoil alot- same design as Space gun.
Centennial Pro- Updated version of Dynakick- similar recoil reducing design.
Many other versions that are different versions of the basic Mono gun- LTD, Handicap special, Dixie Special, 73 etc. I'm sure I missed or left out alot- but this is a basic list. Only Ljutic's still in productions are the Monogun, Pro-3, SLE PRO, all available with fixed rib or Adj rib models.
Just back from a trip to the factory in Yakima- Learned a ton about everything Ljutic.
Any specific questions just ask- If I don't know the answer I can get it.
By the way I was wrong on my early post- the triggers will interchange between Pro-3's and Mono guns.
There have been dozens of different models made over the years.
They are currently working on a exclusive line for my shop- The PRO-3 Heavy barrel- Special bore. Available in a fixed California rib or Adj rib- Blued or stainless- all will have the heavy barrel and be overbored to .745.
delivery of the 1st ones will be march 1, 2011. I will post some pictues when I get a few in stock.

started in Reno, moved to Yakima WA, still there. Al was a boxer originally named Al Dempsey. Go to google and type in Al Ljutic and you will find a lot of interesting info. There will never be another like him
I dont think he built any until Yakima but not sure. I lived in Yakima for a few years and spent many days over there just in awe. The Ljutics are nice folks
