1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

My friend and I are looking to find a good spot for some dove hunting on the 1st. We were thinking from Modesto to Los Banos or Firebaugh Ca. has a pretty good reputation for dove hunting. We applied for the hunts that the department of fish and game offers but were not selected so were were hoping to find some private land to hunt. We can offer in exchange a duck and goose hunt in the Sacramento valley in December or January. Thank you, Ray

Years ago I hunted the Corcoran - Hanford area. A lot of saflower is grown there. Scout it and get permission from the farmers. Also, a lot of walnut orchards in the area. Be aware that it could rain a day or two prior to opening. Now if you want a great hunt, go down to Yuma, AZ. and hunt on the Indian reservation. Cost is $45. If you don't limit by 7:30 AM and having breafast in the casino shame on you. Good luck getting a room. Fred

Thanks for the tip Fred. I will look into it. I have hunted doves many times in The Los Banos, Newman and Gustine area and know my way around in that part of the state. If anyone knows of anywhere from Livermore to the Harris ranch area I would be very great full for the help. Thanks again, Ray
