1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

We bought our first two units from the original manufacture & inventer who was very good working with us during the learning curve. Since that time Target Shotguns has bought out the original people and now they are now Canterbury Token machines. They have made some upgrades to the equipment, the additional two that we bought from Target Shotguns were upgraded without any charges and Gary, their tech, has been the "best" helping us out!! We now have four units that are used in conjunction with Canterbury Voice Calls. The few problems that we've had were turned around back to us in under a week!!

The briley ones are the only ones I've encountered that actually worked. The problem with the Canterbury machines is that they never tell you exactly how many targets you have left, just LED indicators showing you how many full rounds you have left. There are so many different settings on the briley machines as well, such as target lag (if you want to hit the button for yourself), count up (if your curious as to how many targets have been thrown over a period of time), count down (set your own value per coin), ect. Add to that the fact that the Briley is less than 75% the cost of the canterbury, and it really is a no brainer. The Canterbury is the Ford Pinto, and the Briley is the Cadillac.

BTW, the only club I ever shot over that had canterburys was wired in with a telephone cord in come manner, and the only thing you had to do to bypass the system completely was to unplug the cord from the back of the box...

They have 2 different kinds at Nashville Gun Club, but they might be interested in getting rid of one. It works fine, but it takes a smaller token than the rest and it's just too hard keeping track of 2 different tokens.

You could check out their website for a contact and inquire with the club manager or email the club President for more information.

We also have found Bob Schultz and Gary very good to work with. I am not familiar with the Briley as they came out after we were in to the Canterburys.
