1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

TDK, According to my Baker barrel gauge, the IC is .007 and the Mod is .015. IMod is .025. All these chokes seam to shoot tighter than they measure.

What constriction would your LM be? Splitting hairs?

TDK, There is no need for a LM. The IC and MOD are only .008 constriction apart.
I'm not sure they even made a LM? I guess you could order one from Briley at .011 constriction, but you are splitting hairs.

Cabela's has Briley LM titanium choke tubes on clearance for $39.99 in their Bargain Cave. It's a great price and a great tube.

Most LM are 16th and Mod are 20th they do vary with different companies but this is the most common. I would also add that in most chokes the extended longer chokes have a longer parrel and shoot tighter than flush or short extended chokes. That is why I see sporting guys with the Rino or Pure Gold chokes breaking 40 yard targets with LM chokes. My LM is 16th and patterns like a tight Mod which would be about 23th.

If a choke tube shoots tigher than it is marked, isn't it mis-marked? If an IC choke throws more than 77% of the pellets in a 30" circle at 30 yards, it is not an IC choke. BTW, the standard LM choke is .015, Mod .020, Imod .025,LF .30, Full.35, XF .040 per Briley and most manufacturers.

Used an inside mic on my LT. MOD tube I'm coming up with .7158, if I do the math it is ~.015 constriction. .732 - .716 = .016

Pretty close to me. I've found the Beretta tubes that I've used and mic'd to be very close. Closer than Browning tubes I've mic'd. Not sure what the industry standard +/- is on tubes. If my mic is off, it's only by a .0001, .0002 at most.

That would match my Modified tube! Wonder whats up? I just re-checked my barrel and chokes with a Baker barrel gauge. Bore is .731, IC choke is.007, Mod is .015. HMMMMM. I thought LM would be .011
