1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

In my opinion, one of the finest small bore rounds. I`ve been looking for one also. I`ve got a Contender pistol in 222rem that out shoots anything else I have. An old time varmint hunter I know only uses the 222. They aren`t over powered and don`t tend to do a lot of pelt damage. Maybe a 222 barrel for my Encore might work. Larry

UNLOADER find a Rem 788 in 222. They ain't pretty but but they will shoot! A decent smith can tune the trigger for you. The 788 action is very stiff and locks up tight.

I loved my 700 ADL in .222 'til somebody talked me into trading it for one in .22-250. Even kept the old stock and just switched barreled actions. Never looked back, until tonight. Good luck with your quest.

    I had a Thompson/Center Contender Super 14 with a 4x Buris Scope in .222

It out shot every rifle I ever owned. I still wonder why I sold it.
