1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

    Hi all,

I purchased a 20 ga 1100 LW for my kids to start trap / skeet shooting with. The stock is a little long.

Any idea if the 870 or 11-87 will fit an 1100? what about a 12 ga, will that fit on a 20?

Does anybody have a youth stock they're willing to sell?

Any idea where I can buy a used one beyond ebay?

    Thanks

Just my luck, Start looking for them and can't find them ;)

Cheapest one right now is almost 50, probably 60-70 by the time it's done. Almost cheaper to get one new...

    Flip,

    YOU ROCK.

Now since I have a LW. Does that make any difference?

I've been told the LW is a thiner receiver and does not fit the standard.

I've also been told a 12 GA will not fit a 20 GA.

Any idea if an 870 12 gauge stock will fit a 1100 20 LW? My intent is to fit it for my daughter.

    Thanks!

lw is a small receiver. you need a late model stock from 1100, 870 or 1187
sub gauge gun. Remngton made only 2 different stock/receiver sizes for all models. You need the smaller one.

    Thanks LUGNUTZ426,

I've noticed on the end of the stock, on ebay there is a number stamped into it.

    Sometimes 870, or 1187 but I've see 11, and 28 as well.

Is there anything that is stamped on the stock that would identify it as a "LW" stock?

    FLIP,

I contacted the seller of the stock above, and he said it would NOT fit my rig.

    Thx

Have it professionally cut off, keep the porkchop and when they grow larger have it glued bak on. It will be fine looking both shorttend and with the chop attached. What you are looking for is a needle
