Looks like the protest against Walmart kinda backfired. I think the increase in publicity helped instead of hurting. Walmart clams this to be the best black friday sales ever.----Way to go lefties!

Apparently the (marchers) were NOT walmart employees but union thugs.

I'm one of those mean small business owners that screws over his employees all the time, that being said, on holidays I let everybody off and will pull call so they can stay home and enjoy the holidays with family

Usually there aren't any calls but I ended up having to run a no heat call at 1 Friday morning, on the way to it I had to go by a Walmart, that has a Lowe's next door the Lowe's was closed but the Walmart and Lowe's parking lots were over flowing and the line to get in the Walmart was way out in the parking lot

It is so effing stupid, stand there all effing night to save maybe $50?

Heard Wal-mart sold 1.3 million TV's and 250,000 bicycles on Friday. The protest worked.

Don't those people standing line all week for Black Friday have a job?

They could work all week and make more money than save on the sale.

I went to Walmart Thursday AM to get some of the last minute "stuff" we had forgotten for our feast latter that day. Those people couldn't have been more pleasant or professional to deal with, I thanked them for being there for me and my family and shook many hands while wishing them Happy Thanksgiving. Thank you Walmart & employees, job well done!!

Walmart could'nt have gotten better or cheaper publicity, even if they had bought air time. When the lefties protest something , I go there just to tick them off.

If wal mart had a great black friday that is great for the economy in china. They pay their employees here about $8.00 per hour. In china they have child and slave labor conditions. wal mart employees are for the most part on food stamps and government asst. Wal mart itself is as rich as the 25th richest country in the world. You think this is fair and that no one should try to stand up for these workers so you can save a couple dollars shopping?

Well ryan27, why don't you start your own store with unionized employees and show us how it should be done.

Ryan is right, WM should immediately start paying their employees $100 per hour and insist that they unionize. That would make the libtards happy and the employees would be happy for the week or 2 it would take for WM to go out of business. The low income people who shop at WM would be the biggest losers. It wouldn't take long for the liberal dullards to blame "evil capitalism" for the disaster and huge loss of jobs.

Liberalism is a mental disease that needs to be eradicated.

The best thing that ever happened to WalMart is all of the publicity about employees walking out, protestors, and strikers ... Hell, they couldn't of got more advertising if they paid for it ... Then to top it all off they had record sales ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Hey Brian, it's already been done for him. It's called Costco, and as I'm sure your aware they have been very successful. They pay higher than market value to there employees and only charge a max. 16% markup on goods. Good job Ryan! As for the rest of you, you better stop supporting all these unionized empires like, automobiles, railroads, public works, and so forth.

John, they wouldnt have to pay 100.00 per hour but they should pay them enough so they do not have to be on govt. asst. food stamps and medicaid. wal mart makes more profit than most industry jobs that pay employees a living wage. people complain and put down the people on food stamps and then turn around and support the employer that puts them there.

There's those idiotic, meaningless liberal words again: "living wage", which they can't define. I assume the think that they should be paid whatever is a "living wage" to them. In that case, I would require $100 per hour to live the way I want to live. That's my "living wage".

Anytime somebody throws out nonsensical drivel like "living wage", they are identifying themselves as a socialist Obama supporter who agrees with Karl Marx: "From each accordingly to their ability to each according to their need."

Joe, no need for you to worry since WM requires their employees to be literate.
