I was in line at walmart yesterday, a woman walked out and the alarm went off, she turned around came back in it went off again.. she told the greeter.. dont worry, I set it off everytime I pass under it.. turned around and walked out.. the greeter stood there with big eyes looking like she didnt know whether to shit or go blind.. so..I guess its possible someone can set them off, or if you want to shop lift just tell them their machine does it everytime..lol..

At one time I carried a magnetic money clip. It would set off the theft device at every store I went to.

Do you think they actually pay attention to those things? If they saw her shoplift something, the greeter would have company.

Kids like to take the magnetic strips and tape them to shopping carts.

They made my wife come back in 3 times because her box of doughnuts kept setting it off.

Honest. I wouldn't lie about something so stupid.

Finally they let her go, and it went off again. No more doughnuts form there.
