Your gun may like something different.

Wads are the least expensive and likely the most important component to "good" patterns. Saving money on wads is not wise.

DownRange TGT-12 for 1oz and DownRange Versalite for 1 1/8oz, both pushed by 18gr of Promo.

TGT12, Fig 8, Red Versalite, 12S0, 12S3. The Versalite and 12S3 seem to be on top of the heap for 1 1/8 oz loads. Promo, Green Dot, Unique, or Universal Clays, depending on velocity and hull. Always use the best shot you can buy. It does seem to make a difference when the yardage starts to get longer.

My Browning Unsingle loves them with 40 point Angleport choke. I only use them in 1 1/8 oz of 7 1/2 Caps loads behind 25 gr Solo 1250 in a Eurotrash hull w/Rio primer. Gets there quick, recoil is surprisingly mild. BOILS them off the back fence.

    Ported 34" bbl is LOUD.
