is there any other suitable hull for the federal 20ga case? I have approx 2k to get rid of, and would like to come up w/ a good recipe for them.

Best was the Federal pushin cushin. Too xpensive and hard to get.

Old yellow PC wads were good. Don't know if they are still available.

AAs used to to be OK. Them or their clones probably still are.

    Avoid RXP20 in this hull.

I have been using Universal with AA clone wads from Duster, and it has done the job. The slower powder gives the skirt time to seal. Using regular recipe per Hodgdon.

Downrange Versalite (formerly Hornady) is the wad of choice for 20ga, available nationwide from a dealer near you. If there is no dealer near you let me know.
