Trying to find a Wad that can be used in 28 Ga. Estate hulls -- I haven't found a wad that will seal the powder and give good consistent results -- anybody that has a good recipe and will share it would be greatly appreciated -- Thanks Doug

The Federal Wads are usually a good choice. I believe it's the 28S1 for 3/4 oz loads. Try the new 20/28 powder from Alliant. I've seen and heard good things about it.

    dmm,

I cut an Estate shell apart once, and they come from the factory with the Federal 28S1 wad.

I'm using 14.5 grains of Hodgdon Universal Clays, Winchester 209 primers, a Federal 28S1 wads capped by 3/4 ounces of chilled 9 shot for skeet.

    Works super.

    Tim
