i am currently loading the same recipe in 2 different types of fed. plastic hull, and am wondering if i could load it in the paper hull as well. the only substitution i would need to make is the wad. the alliant manual calls for a CB-6100 and I am currently loading the CB-2100. The claybuster website describes both of these wads for use in straight-wall hulls with one ounce of shot. would there be any problem substituting one wad for the other?

You're fine with the C1 wad. The C1 and S3 (ballistically identical) are what you get in factory Federal Papers.

The 6100 series are Winchester-pattern wads designed for misc. eurotrash plastic hulls. They will also work in papers.
