It is most likely the 3" version of the 900, are fore-runner of the present day Platinum 2000.

Does not come with the EZ-Fill Hopper.

Unless you are planning to load 3" or steel, I would consider the 800 Plus.

I have been looking for a used PW, 2 for sale on ebay , 9000 Elite and the LS 1000. The 9000 has 12 and 20 dies, counter, looks to be as new. Have been told the 800 plus is prefered. Think I'll keep looking.

    thanks Jim

Unless you are planning to change gauges often I would not rule out the P/W 900. I have three sets of tooling for mine (12,28,.410) and can change gauges in 20-30 minutes. I like the center shaft indexing of the 900. It seems to be more durable. My 900 has never had an indexing problem in the 10 years I have owned it and I bought it used!

If you can get a "deal" on one, go for it.

I think I saw one on eBay for around $750. I about fell over and then I saw the MAKE AN OFFER, so I contemplated offering $350-$400. I felt that would have been a slap-in-the-face, so I passed on it.

You can get a brand new 800 Plus for $800, and a new Platinum for $750.

I bounced the people on ebay on the 900 Elite, shell counter, 12 & 20 dies. $625 will get it delivered.
    Not too bad, Jim
