Don't know the count, but both legislators were recalled by the voters.

See my post "News from Colorado and NYC"

Isn't it interesting that what VERY LITTLE national coverage this SUCCESSFUL recall drive received seems to be oriented to "Well, it doesn't matter anyway. One of the recalled was not able to run again and the other just didn't connect with the voters." Yea, that last part of the statement is really the correct part. BUT the national coverage is trying to downplay this as having no effect in the long run. Yet, going up to the recall they were all overwhelmed that this recall would really put the NRA in its place and show that voters really do want gun control.

Suddenly, now that their ideas were shot out of the sky, in spite of $330,000 just from Bloomberg alone, and other hundreds of thousands of dollars from other gun control advocates (estimated to be close to $3,000,000 from the anti-gun supporters), this recall suddenly, at least in their minds, means nothing at all. Yea, and pigs can fly faster and higher than an F-16 fighter jet too!

Way to go Colorado voters. All of the other states should do the same either for gun rights or for them taking care of themselves and not our country.

OK, they have had a recall. What happens now? Are they out of office? Do they hold another election. Are they put in the stocks in the town square? I'm glad they got recalled, but I would like to know what the process is from here. Thanks, Charlie

I thought about asking if we could do that for the White House, but then I looked at the replacement. Nevermind.

Thanks all in Colorado who had a hand in getting this recall done! Do not let the liberal media belittle your victory. Your efforts have been rewarded, despite the interference from outside money!

    From the NRA press release:

"We look forward to working with NRA-PVF “A” rated and endorsed Bernie Herpin (R) from Colorado Springs and NRA-PVF “AQ” rated and endorsed George Rivera (R) from Pueblo in the Colorado State Senate."

These are the 2 new legislators who were also elected.
