I am thinking of getting a wireless voice release for Skeet. Is Clay Delay the way to go or are there other choices?

We have been very pleased with Clay Delay. I think the wireless is worth the extra money.

Rickyd: I would agree if it were for trap, but he wants it for skeet, and he needs to be able to connect to skeet outlet.

My Clay Delay has worked perfectly, and costs less than other voice release systems on the market. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Clay Delay is an OUTSTANDING product.
However, I would get the 'HARD WIRED" unit not the wireless.
You may have problem with the wireless unit if you live or use it near a Military Base or Air Port.
Clay Delay is the way to go.

Sir, the E R A D system can typically be plugged directly in place of the pull cord. It will handle all the diciplines of trap, skeet, 5std, sporting clays, and custom games. For skeet just log onto the field, step up to station 1 and call for the bird. The system is smart enough to know where you are and which shot you are on. It doesn't matter if you have one shooter or five or even ten shooters on a squad. Each shooter is his or her own game and has nothing to do with the other shooters on the squad. If you want to shoot doubles while the next person is shooting international and the next is shooting standard, just call up the game in your transmitter and that is what you will get. If you miss a bird, just touch the (OPT) key and you will get your option shot if the game allows. If you want to move to a different shot just touch the right or left arrows. If you want to jump to a specific station just touch the station key and touch the station number you want to jump to. If you get a broken bird just touch the (N/B) key and the system will reload the previous shot. If you are a really good shot, you don't do anything. The system is smart enough to know you didn't touch the (OPT) key and will give you your last low house bird. If you want to practice specific shots with out shooting a complete game just select the manual voice release mode and program up what shots you want and go to calling for the birds. The system will simply repeat the sequence you have programmed releasing the appropriate bird each time you call. This isn't just a dumb voice release system. You can use your tramsmitter on any field, you are not limited to a matching transmitter to a specific receiver (although you can set the system up to do that). If you have a skeet/trap overlay on the same field, you can install the receiver inside the trap house, wire the skeet machines to it and if you call up the game of trap and log onto that field, you will release trap birds. If you call up the game of skeet, you will release skeet birds, even when all the machines are on at the same time. This is just a few things that it will do. A transmitter is the size of a credit card, a little over 1/4" thick and weighs a mere 1.8 oz including the batteries. It has a 16 position keypad and an LCD for displaying the data to the shooter. Typical battery life is 1 year. The Receiver requires NO external power and does NOT use batteries. The Ventriloquist system was invented and perfected by shooters and is made and serviced by trap and skeet shooters. A great system for trap or skeet......
