gyrine started the Scotch thread so why not a Vodka thread. While in Texas I tasted a new vodka named "Tito's" I bought it at Costco and it was not a high priced vodka. I was pleasantly surprised as it is wonderful. They now have it here in Idaho. Has anybody tried it. Whats your favorite Vodka?

Grey Goose from the freezer. If mixing, just about any top shelf vodka will do.

At Sams Club Svedka @ $18.00 for 1.75 and Skyy @ $22.00 for a 1.75. Grey Goose, Belvidere, Chopin etc. I and the wife are more then happy with the Svedka and Skyye! RG

I guess I'm a low class dude...I'm quite happy with my Old Bay style Bloody Marys made with good 'ol Smirnoffs and save the Absolut for parties and company

Another vote for Ketel One. I like it on the rocks with an eyedropper of Grapefruit juice.

    Tron,

Try K1 with a dash of Rose's sweetened Lime juice for a great gimlet, on the rocks of course.

Ketel One is a much faster, more reliable buzz with less felt hangovers.

I don't know about that Tron, quite a few malfunctions with K1, Bombay Saphire and a touch of olive juice makes absolutely brilliant but the cycle rate is a bit high.

If you mix vodka with milk of magnesia, you get a phillips screwdriver.

If you mix it with prune juice, you get a pile driver.

Skyy, Three Olives for the best martini, and use Noilly Pratt for the vermouth....you'll be surprised.

    Gordons ain't half bad.
