1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

    I hope that fellow knows what he is buying. The cap is not from the 40s or the 50s. It is not from any pre 64 Winchester gun. I will await my crucifiction for telling the truth.

    No it is not the Winchester cap that is for sale is for a Y model or a Super X. The right cap for a 1955 model 12 would look like the ones on a Browning model 12.

    The cap is correct for a M12 of that time frame,Stu is one of the good guys here on TS. Missle,skeeter and old bore are off track
