Nice video and all but they shot against some type of cloth material so the patterns didn't persist for easy comparision.

Some type of cardboard or paper would have been nice. Then they could have stopped the video and drawn circles on the last frame to show differences.

Have not listened to audio yet.

Cardboard or paper. Joe? But then you could tell what's going on -move on from oldthink and get with the program! The medium is the message which is easy since there is no message, for the pattern part anyway.

You can't understand the audio anyway since he speaks some sort of Gaelic - subtitles would have been a big help.

But it's all worth it, since it ends with such a terrific recoil experiment. That is just the best thing I've seen in a long time and is so effective that it may be as much as a day before someone here explains the recoil advantages of unsingles or lower barrels, which are entirely imaginary as anyone should have been able to tell by just trying it. But it's nice to have clear proof like this, even though it won't convince anyone here.

You are right, of course, Tim. I should have guessed that from his name.

Where else would they find shooting boomerangs more fun than clay targets?

Posted the following comment with video author: "On your chokes video - wish you had used paper or cardboard instead of some type of puncture resistant material. Then you could have stopped the comparisons on the last frame and drawn circles to show differences."

From the dude's left hand, I assume he used to shoot a K-80.
