I just stumbled across this at YouTube. This is a home movie (probably 8mm) which purports to have been taken at the Selection Match for the 'U.S. Olympic Trapshooting Team' which represented us at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. Held at the Army Marksmanship Unit's ranges at Ft. Benning, GA - I believe the winner of this match was the late Frank Little. As you would expect, it's a little grainy (and has no sound), but I *think* you can recognize Frank Little at the end. '64 Olympic Bronze Medalist Bill Morris must be in there, too, but I don't recognize him. This was taken when competitors shot 'three-and-a-quarter-dram, ounce-and-a-quarter' loads. Even shooting just 100 targets-a-day, they had to be tired.

Since I don't post very often, I don't know the ins and outs of inserting links, so thanks Motordoctor. -V

The interesting thing about this video is the background. This is the same range we shoot today. Its the original "lower bunker". Today you can't see the water tower at all but you can see the main post area as well as the base of the tower. People have complained about the trees for years now we can see what it looks like without them.
