IMO... there is no one single person in this country that is more important than a Veteran and those in the services today! WELCOME HOME!

I didn't do much. Got drafted near the end of the Korean fiasco. I didn't want to go, had just gotten married, but when Uncle SAM called I went, did what they told me to do, went where they said and stayed until they released me! Didn't protest or run off to Canada!

geneleroy..... "I didn't do much"? yes you did Brother! You served and if called upon were ready to give up your life for a fighting cause. I often feel the same, except I remember way back in 66 - 68 that I was a somewhat dumb, naieve kid of 19 who was sure of only one thing, that I was ready to die defending our principles and beliefs. Just knowing that when you serve makes you a hero in my mind. That is the Ultimate sacrafice. A Veterans Day Best Wish to you.

I don't agree with blade on everything, but today, I'm with him 100 persent. Served 4 yrs. USN 65 to 69. I'm proud of all serving and those who have served. And especially proud of the ones who never got the chance to return to their family.
