Versalite DownRange Wads ?

    Go to the Alliant home page and look on the bottom left of the page. There will be a link to their new 2008 powder catalog. Look at page 38, 39, and 40 for some Versalite loading data. I'd rather use a wad designed for straight walled hulls in those Federal loads. I use the Red Versalites, only I use them in tapered hulls. I did not have good results when I tried them in the Federal hulls. I use the Federal 12S3 or a clone for 1 1/8 in straight walled hulls with excellent results. Downrange makes an excellent clone and is worth trying. I use the Federal 12S0 for 1 ounce and they are a great combination. The patterns are some of the tightest I've obtained.
