Value Super-X1 Pigeon w/ Custom Wood

    My friend is going to put his Super X-1 Pigeon Grade with custom Tom Smith wood on the market. 30" trap full. I'm looking for input as to a fair price. The pictures do not show the beauty of this Super X. I believe only about 50 were ever made. Thanks,

    Does he have the original wood and does it go w/ the gun? If so, it could make a lot of difference to what a collectot would pay.

    In 1987 I was an FFL and I talked to winchester to order one of these. They offered to build me serial # 49 of 50 for $500. That was the cost at that time LOL

    Believe a grand is close to what Tom charges for a forend.
