As the name states. I am in the market for a Winchester 1400 MkII trap gun. If anyone can help with relative values based on condition, say 85% and up. I would appreciate it.

    Thanks,
    Matt

    $275 to $350 :) Actually the curent Blue Book says 90% is $275, 80% is $220. Mark

What about with the fancy wood on it?

There is a "Custom High Grade" that books for $750 in 95% condition. This was a special order through the Custom Gun Shop, only in 1991-92. The prices I gave you are for the Trap Grade gun. The field grade is closer to $200. The 1400 was a gun that was made to try and save money by Winchester and doesn't have a good reputation, which is reflected in it's lack of resale value. Mark

Most of the 1200's and the 1400's had fancy wood. I wouldn't give that much of a premium in the value.

    Matt,

There have been several Winchester SX-1 models posted for sale recently. These are REAL trap guns...better quality and parts are easy to find. Spend a little more and pass on the 1400...you'll be glad you did.
