My son has a chance to buy the following shotguns for about $200.00 to $250.00
One is a Benelli Nova with a 28" barrel and in the camo pattern. Has some wear and a ding in the rib comes with 3 or 4 chokes

The other one is a mossberg 485 T bolt action 20ga fixed full.

He thinks he can get them both for the price above.

    Is that a good deal???

I know nothing about either type of guns.

    Thanks

That would be a decent price just for the Nova.

A used Nova that has been dragged in the field would worth $250 by itself.

Nova is a tool gun, far from work of art, and will never be a collector's item, as long as it works, who care about how it looks. Tell him to buy it, then give the Mossberg to whoever he likes. He'll have a good gun and a thanking friend. All for $200.

    thanks all,
if they were trap guns I could give him an answer or 870 ro 1100
He is a hunter and that is what he will use the nova for. I told him the mossberg was a gift not worth much if anything.

    thanks
