1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Need a little help. My son-in law(a non hunter or shooter) has an old Mod. 37 Ithaca he wants to get rid of, but we don't have a clue what it's worth. It's a 20ga field model that's not in real good shape. The Modified ck. barrel has been cut off with a hacksaw to 23 3/4", the receiver has been drilled and tapped for a scope base. As he lives in NY State we suspect someone tried to make a deer gun out of it. The serial no. is 237xxx. I believe it has little or no collector value, but it could be a good light rabbit/grouse gun. Any help on the value will be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Clydep

I'd be afraid to offer $100 for the fear he might take it. Not much in the way of value here.

This would be a great candidate for a cab gun.

Yes. It is a gun to turn in when Philadelphia wants guns off the streets. Take the $50 and run

The hacksawed barrel is replaceable as is the wood but the drilled reciever is a killer. $100 would be a high guess.
