Stay away from Seven Pounds & The Spirit, two losers. Marley & Me and Benjamin Button are good.

...what, no Katie Holmes as Eva Braun, with Tom C. putting her up on the pool table in a "love triangle?"

I saw "The Spirit" last night, and its OK if you like that kind of movie. Cinematic representation of a comic book, done in semi-animation, like "Sin City" or "The 300."

But I gotta say, Eva Mendes? WOW! WOW and a half!

And Scarlett Johansson is not so bad either.

One of the promos says "a story most of us have never heard", or something like that!

The reason is real history isn't taught anymore in the schools. The Holocaust never happened either. I knew the facts of this movie when I was in Jr. High School. When you twist the history books and make it read the way you want, no wonder most have never heard of it. Truly sad..

"The Day the Earth Stood Still" wasn't at all impressive either. Especially if you're old enough to have been scared to death by the original.

Tom Cruise...act?....he mostly just plays Tom Cruise....too bad he didn't try to affect a German accent, then it could have been marketed as a comedy!

While it was made for TV, the 1990 movie "The Plot to Kill Hitler" was done pretty well, and the late Brad Davis did an excellent job playing Count Claus von Stauffenberg. This movie has been out on DVD.<br>

I haven't seen the new movie yet. Might gamble a bit of money and go see it. Going stir crazy from being snowed in.

Tom Cruise has a pretty smile, women tell me. I've thought that's maybe his only claim to fame? I suspect if he could act he'd make a convincing gay guy in a movie like Midnight Cowboy? But he can't act. Phil E

Throwing my hard earned money at the same Hollyweird hooligans that brought you the next four years is not my idea of being constructive - bored to tears is preferable, to me. The Libraries are always open.

Yes they could have done better then Tom Cruise but they could have done worst. They could have gotten Peewe Herman.

That would be "Gran Torino" with Clint Eastwood.

Thanks for the heads up. My wife and I were going to go see it tomarrow. Cant afford to waste any money now a days and with the prices at the theatre unless you hit the Matinee, I could get 150 Gun Clubs.

Seven Pounds was a great movie. Granted, I think I missed a major part, but from what I say it was really good! A bit dark in parts, but it's a movie you can bring your wife to and actually enjoy yourself! Good message too.

My wife and I are planning to see 'Marley and Me". We both read the book.

If you read the book or go to the movie, bring some tissues!!

My wife and I saw it and enjoyed it. I'm not a big Tom Cruise fan
but I felt the movie was good.
