TrapAce,... I think you are gonna be right. Now that they re-did the schedule as not to conflict with that other shoot, I think there will be a hefty turnout too.

Any clue as the the vendors that might be there? I just might stop on down for a day or two trip depending on who might be there.

Was there any bargain deals on ammo at the PA State shoot ... for those that were there also. Deals such as around $40 a flat or so?

Gunrunner will be there for sure. I talked to him. Bob Igou will have ammo and reloading stuff. And usually there is a Ponsness Warren guy who comes. Country Gent stock man usually, and there's one other gunsmith that comes ( sorry, can't remember his name). And a few others.

We will have about 10 to 15 vendors, I was up at the Pennsy State shoot asking more vendors to come. We should have a good amount of vendors present.

Only the official vendor at Elysburg was allowed to sell ammo, so there were no deals there.

Michael- Would you happen to have a chair my size? I will be walking around looking for a place to hang out?

I've never been to the VA State shoot, but from what I've read, I can't wait to go this year.

The timing is great leading up to the Grand, i.e. MD, VA, WVA... all I need are shoots the last two weeks of July to fill up the entire run to Preliminary week in Sparta.

I might even get to meet Mr. Ireland--the sage one. It'd be a pleasure.

I think I might come just to meet some people ... I'll be the one wearing a bright lime green shirt and bright neonish yellow shorts. I would wear pink but that is just to skeetish and this is a trap shoot.

Due to a very generous donation, we will have HOA resident class trophies this year at the Virginia State shoot. Classes AA-D, same rules as HOA. Highest total score on events 1-11, class determined by your classification on the first day. Next year I’ll try to have non-resident ones as well. Good shooting and hope to see you there.

So would the 4th be a good day to stop by for a little camaraderie and vendor visiting or the weekend of 7th/8th be better?
